Bel Aire Diner is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. Food is great and desserts are unbelievable especially cheese cake. Bel Aire Diner came to my rescue about 2 weeks ago. I had just watched a boxing match at a nearby bar in astoria and found myself with a terrible migraine. I felt like utter crapola (excuse my language) and had a sudden craving more matzah ball soup. It was already past midnight but to my surprise, Bel Aire Diner popped up nearby and their menu confirmed it was true. Let me tell you, their matzah ball soup is phenomenal! I got a large size and was totally worth the few extra bux. While I wouldn't call it as good as my grandmas (I mean, c'mon, can anyone beat Grandma?), it truly hit the spot and helped with my headache. A HUGE thank you to our waitress. While I apologize that I didn't jot down your name, I promise I won't forget your face the next time I come back. She was as sweet and as helpful as could be. I had to tip big because her service and the food saved me big time, and enabled me to make the long drive back home (don't worry, didn't have a sip of anything at the bar except lemon water). Bel Aire Diner you rock!

Oh the famous Bel Aire Diner of Astoria! Been living here all my life and finally came here for the first time over the weekend for breakfast. The family and I were immediately seated, which was great since we were all hungry ! I ordered coffee with the fam. My sister ordered the burger which was delicious. I ordered the omelette and my mom ordered a French toast. All foods were delicious and definitely big portions! Overall decent pricing for a typical diner. Will be coming back for another breakfast deal. :)

The food and service is wonderful. My usual go to place right next to home when I want to relax and eat. I feel like a regular, I think I am a regular. My granddaughter loves to come over and say let's go to the diner.
